Air India Moves Operations to New Jodhpur Terminal.

Air India has shifted all its flight operations at Jodhpur Airport to the newly inaugurated terminal building, effective 12 July 2026, marking a major milestone in enhancing passenger convenience and operational efficiency. The move follows the inauguration of the modern terminal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the Government of India’s continued focus on strengthening regional aviation infrastructure.

Air India currently operates 26 weekly flights from Jodhpur, including 14 services to Mumbai and 12 to Delhi, providing seamless onward connectivity to a wide domestic and international network through its hub airports. Passengers travelling on these flights will now benefit from the upgraded facilities available at the new terminal.

The state-of-the-art terminal, spread across 23,342 square metres, is equipped with 20 check-in counters, six aerobridges, advanced security screening systems, and a modern baggage handling system. Designed to handle increasing passenger traffic, the terminal combines contemporary amenities with architectural elements inspired by Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage, offering a comfortable and efficient travel experience.

Air India has advised passengers departing from Jodhpur to arrive at the new terminal well in advance of their scheduled departure to ensure a smooth check-in and boarding process. The transition is expected to improve airport operations, reduce congestion, and support the continued growth of tourism, trade, and business travel in Rajasthan while reinforcing Jodhpur’s importance in India’s expanding aviation network.
