With the inauguration of Six Flags Qiddiya City on December 31, Saudi Arabia has added a daring new attraction to its changing recreational scene, drawing guests from all around the Kingdom and beyond. Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is celebrating the inauguration of its first theme park created and constructed outside of North America. Six Flags Qiddiya City, the world’s first city constructed exclusively on the “Power of Play,” is the first major entertainment attraction to open at Qiddiya City, which is 40 minutes from Riyadh and situated in the centre of the breathtaking Tuwaiq Mountains.
When finished, Qiddiya City will offer top notch sports, entertainment and cultural events in a daring new lifestyle centre. With 28 rides and attractions spread across six immersive themed areas, the park combines state of the art technology with the thrills of Six Flags. The world’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster, Falcons Flight, the world’s tallest tilt coaster, Iron Rattler and the world’s tallest inverting coaster, Spitfire, are some of its standout attractions, establishing new standards for exhilarating amusement. With Six Flags Qiddiya City, a historic initiative that will revolutionise entertainment in the area, Six Flags is pleased to announce its debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With eighteen attractions geared towards families and younger visitors, the park has been carefully planned as a family-friendly lifestyle destination in addition to its thrilling rides. The all day entertainment attraction is further enhanced by the numerous foreign dining establishments and shops that sell special Six Flags items and souvenirs. Adult tickets start at USD 85, while children’s tickets start at USD 70. Children under four enter free of charge. With preferential access to a few rides, the Unlimited GoFast Pass allows visitors to improve their experience. The park is completely accessible and visitors with special needs and their companions can get discounted tickets and unique accommodations.
