Star Alliance Opens Star Connection Center at Los Angeles International Airport.

Star Alliance established its ninth Star Connection Center (SCC) globally at LAX. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is one of the most important international transfer hubs for Star Alliance, handling over 350,000 passengers annually.
Customers who are at risk of missing their next flight because of a delayed inbound flight are identified by SCC, which then expedites them to their next flight.
Ambar Franco, Star Alliance’s vice president stated, “Our goal is to make multi-airline journeys feel seamless, and every moment matters when connections are tight. Our member airlines unite at Star Connection Centers to guarantee that passengers are assisted from an Alliance perspective, regardless of the airline they are flying with. Providing a seamless experience throughout our worldwide network is what Star Alliance stands for. Both our members and clients will gain from our newest Star Connection Center at LAX.”
Los Angeles is currently served by sixteen Star Alliance member airlines, including Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Avianca, Copa Airlines, EVA Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, SWISS, TAP Air Portugal, Turkish Airlines, and United. Together, they run more than 2,000 weekly flights to more than 80 locations in more than 20 nations.
