TEX 2027 will be held at Mayfair Lake Resort in Raipur by the Tourism India Alliance (TIA).

The Tourism India Alliance (TIA) has announced that its flagship event, Tourism Exchange (TEX) 2027, will take place at Mayfair Lake Resort in Raipur from January 7–9, 2027. The event will bring together tourism players from both domestic and foreign markets.

TEX 2027, which is anticipated to draw more than 350 guests and more than 50 exhibitors, will provide a venue for networking, information sharing, destination promotion, and company growth in the travel industry.

Ritesh Mundhra, Chairman of the TEX 2027 Organising Committee, announced the location, saying, “The choice of Mayfair Lake Resort adds a special dimension to the event.” The resort is a destination unto itself and is widely recognised as one of Central India’s most renowned hospitality destinations. It creates the perfect setting for significant networking and connection building with its blend of luxury, natural settings, and convention amenities.

TIA claims that the event’s goals are more expansive than those of a typical industry conference. TEX 2027 intends to highlight the tourism potential of the entire state of Chhattisgarh rather than just Raipur.

Mukesh Jain, Executive Vice President, TIA stated, “TEX 2027 is being designed around a simple yet powerful vision to showcase the tourism potential of the entire state of Chhattisgarh, not just its capital city.  We want each delegate who attends TEX 2027 to gain a better understanding of Chhattisgarh as a travel destination and find experiences they can confidently recommend to their clientele.”

TIA will host a number of destination familiarisation events both prior to and following the event in order to further this goal.

The following pre-event familiarisation excursions are planned for January 6–7, 2027

  1. Archaeological heritage and nature encounters are combined in Sirpur and Barnawapara.

2. Bhoramdeo and Saroda Dadar: showcasing ecotourism, adventure travel, and cultural heritage.

3. The Temple Trail highlights important places of worship and spirituality throughout the state.

Delegates will have the chance to take part in a post-event familiarisation excursion to Bastar from January 9–11, 2027.

With its tribal heritage, woods, waterfalls, handicrafts, culture, and adventure experiences, Bastar often considered the crown gem of Chhattisgarh tourism offers tourists a genuine and little-known side of India.

“TEX 2027 aims to create lasting value for both delegates and destinations by combining business networking with destination discovery,” stated Jagdeep Bhagat, President of TIA. Travel industry professionals will have the chance to form alliances, learn new perspectives, and investigate cutting-edge tourism offerings while getting a firsthand look into Chhattisgarh’s variety.

Registration for TEX 2027 will soon open, according to TIA, and more details on exhibitors, hosted buyers, sponsorship opportunities, and delegate participation are anticipated in the upcoming months.

TEX 2027 seeks to raise Chhattisgarh’s profile on the tourist map and open up new avenues for cooperation within the travel industry by combining corporate involvement with immersive destination experiences.
