Air India and Air India Express to Operate 50 West Asia Flights on March 18.
On March 18, 2026, Air India and Air India Express would jointly operate fifty scheduled and unscheduled flights to and from the West Asian region.
On March 18, both airlines will carry on with their regular flights to and from Jeddah and Muscat, including 14 flights between India and Jeddah. Of these, Air India Express will run two flights from Kozhikode and one each from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mangalore, while Air India will run one return service each from Delhi and Mumbai.
Additionally, 12 scheduled flights from Delhi, Kannur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram will be operated by Air India Express to and from Muscat.
Subject to slot availability and other current circumstances at the departure stations at the time, Air India and Air India Express will run a total of 24 non-scheduled flights to and from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in addition to the scheduled services. The necessary authorisations from the appropriate Indian and local regulatory bodies are being used to operate these flights.
Every Air India flight to and from Australia, Europe, North America, and other locations is still running on time. Travellers who are scheduled to travel on any of the routes where Air India Group’s scheduled services are temporarily suspended can choose to receive a full refund or conveniently rebook to a later date at no additional cost.
On Air India Express’s additional commercial flights that operate from any UAE station to any destination in India, passengers who are scheduled to fly from any UAE station can easily rebook their tickets without incurring additional fees.
