ANA to launch daily Narita–Mumbai flights from March 29, 2026.
In order to better match supply with seasonal travel patterns and satisfy the strong demand for travel worldwide, All Nippon Airways (ANA) plans to increase capacity for its international flight operations in FY2026.
As part of this plan, ANA plans to greatly increase capacity on the India Japan aviation corridor by upgrading its Narita Mumbai service to daily operations beginning March 29, 2026. The action is in line with the airline’s larger intentions to expand its international network under ANA Holdings, which are being fuelled by the surge in demand for travel worldwide and a steady recovery.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, there are currently five round trips per week on the Narita Mumbai route (NH 829/830). The service will expand to seven round trips per week between March 29 and July 17, 2026, offering daily nonstop connection between Tokyo Narita and Mumbai.
By providing more schedule flexibility and more seamless onwards connections across ANA’s global network, the increased frequency is anticipated to assist business travellers, students, leisure travellers, and the expanding India Japan economic corridor.
The frequency rise is seasonal, according to ANA. In accordance with expected demand patterns during that time, the Narita Mumbai service will be modified to operate three weekly round trips on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays from July 18 to August 31, 2026.
ANA intends to run its international network at higher capacity levels than in prior years as part of its FY2026 international strategy, which includes the Mumbai expansion. In order to respond to seasonal variations in demand while preserving operational efficiency, ANA is optimising routes and frequencies throughout its network. Simultaneously, ANA will maintain seven round trips per week for its daily Haneda Delhi service (NH 837/838). This guarantees ongoing connectivity between Tokyo’s two main international airports, Haneda and Narita, and India’s two biggest aviation gateways, Delhi and Mumbai, hence enhancing bilateral travel and business relations between Japan and India.
