EgyptAir wraps up its networking event and product display in Punjab.
The airline offers a two-hour trip on the Nile River.

On April 10, 2026, EgyptAir brought together important travel trade partners from all around Punjab for a product display and networking event in Jalandhar. The event’s main themes were engagement, alignment, and acknowledgement. More than 100 important players from Punjab’s travel and tourist industry attended the event.
Amr Aly, EgyptAir’s Country Manager, and Rajat Chadha, EgyptAir’s Sales Manager, led the evening’s coverage of Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Amritsar. The visit is a part of a concentrated effort to enhance EgyptAir’s presence in one of North India’s developing export markets, build contacts, interact directly with the trade, and share future expansion ideas.
Aly stated, “This market has consistently contributed to our growth, and the strength of that contribution lies in the relationships we’ve built over time. The Jalandhar engagement, especially a few days before Baisakhi, was our way of acknowledging that partnership, not just through conversations on business, but through presence and appreciation. We are still dedicated to deepening our relationship with this market and meeting its changing travel needs as we move to the future.”
“Through this engagement, we’ve highlighted Egypt’s strong and evolving connection with India across multiple dimensions, including a relationship that dates back to 1954 with films like Naaz being shot in the country and has since evolved,” Chadha added.
“We also see strong interest driven by Egypt’s growing tourism infrastructure, including the Grand Egyptian Museum, along with our operational agility; from managing time-sensitive movements to recently coordinating a charter for the British cricket team within 24 hours amid regional unrest, working closely with authorities,” Chadha continued.
EgyptAir positioned Egypt as a multifaceted partner to India during the event by sharing a number of firsthand insights that demonstrated its strategy of expanding beyond connectivity to strengthen cultural, economic, and experiential relevance in the Indian market.
The airline’s passenger-first initiatives include its Stopover Paid by Carrier (STPC) program, which offers free hotel accommodations to transit passengers who have long layovers.
In keeping with its motto, “With EgyptAir, your journey doesn’t stop it begins,” the airline is also offering a free two-hour Nile River cruise experience for tickets purchased in April 2026.
A temporary 30% fare discount on reservations booked during the same time frame completes this.
