Emirates announces a busy travel week from January 2 to January 5.

All travellers are urged by Emirates to choose their seats in advance and make sure all of their documentation are legitimate. With a large number of departures and arrivals anticipated between January 2 and 5, Emirates has warned passengers to prepare for a major travel peak during the first week of January.

The airline highly advises passengers to arrive at the airport at least four hours prior to departure in order to ensure a seamless travel experience. This is because there will likely be more traffic on the routes leading to the airport, as well as busier parking lots and a higher volume of passengers within the terminal.

Emirates suggested utilising the alternatives for remote check-in. Customers of Emirates can use free parking to check in and drop off their bags as early as 24 hours and up to 4 hours before to a flight at this location in the centre of the business district. Customers will receive 2,500 Emirates Skywards Miles each if they check in and drop off their bags at this location till January 15.

Customers of Emirates may also choose to check in at their residences in Sharjah and Dubai. To avoid traffic, it is advised to take public transport, such as Dubai Metro, to and from the airport. Travellers can disembark at the designated Airport airport 3 station, which is easily accessible to check-in, departures, and arrivals because it is immediately connected to the airport by walkways and escalators. After their flight, passengers can also exit the airport and take the metro home. To guarantee you have enough time to check in, drop off your bags, get through immigration and get to the boarding gate at least an hour before departure, Emirates advises being at the airport four hours before to the planned departure of your flight.
