Amit Sangwan appointed Cluster General Manager of two Novotel Goa properties.

A seasoned hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, Amit Sangwan provides significant knowledge in operational excellence, guest experience transformation, and people centric leadership across luxury, upper-upscale and business hotel segments. He joins the Novotel Goa Candolim complex from Novotel Ahmedabad, where he served as General Manager from May 2023, generating excellent commercial performance, operational efficiencies and consistently high guest satisfaction.

Sangwan is well-known in the industry and has won numerous awards for leadership excellence, such as the 2024 Hospitality Horizon Awards’ Top 5 General Managers of Business Hotels, the CMO Asia Awards’ Best General Manager for Gujarat, and the International Hospitality & Travel Awards’ Most Admired GM of the Year. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions with top hotel brands, managed intricate food and beverage portfolios, large scale operations, pre-opening assignments, and destination-led resorts.

Amit will be in charge of both properties’ overall strategic direction, operational effectiveness, and commercial expansion in his new position. His focus will be on strengthening brand positioning, increasing guest experiences, and driving sustainable development across leisure, MICE, and food and beverage services.
