Tishtar Parakh Appointed Tourism New Zealand’s India Country Manager.

Tishtar Parakh has been hired as the Country Manager for India by tourist New Zealand, the national tourist organization in charge of marketing New Zealand as a travel destination. Based in Mumbai, she will spearhead Tourism New Zealand’s initiatives to increase demand for travellers and to fortify and expand trade and industrial alliances in the Indian market.
Before joining Tourism New Zealand, Parakh was a Travel commerce Lead at VisitBritain, where she oversaw destination marketing campaigns for India’s consumer and commerce sectors. Having spearheaded trade alliances, industry events, and strategic efforts aimed at boosting Indian market spending and visitor numbers, she brings with her a thorough understanding of the sector.
“Tourism remains a cornerstone of New Zealand’s economy, ranking as the country’s second-largest export earner,” the news statement stated. With significant growth potential, India is a crucial market for New Zealand’s tourist strategy.
In order to encourage more Indian tourists to visit New Zealand, Tishtar will collaborate closely with airlines, travel trade partners, and industry stakeholders in her new position.
