Flydubai introduces daily Dubai-Pokhara flights.

Flydubai has established the first direct air link between Dubai and Western Nepal by starting daily nonstop flights between Dubai International (DXB) and Pokhara International Airport (PHH).

With the launch of the new service on September 23, 2026, Pokhara Flydubai is now the second destination in Nepal, behind Kathmandu. With the expansion, the airline now offers four daily flights to Kathmandu in addition to 35 weekly trips to Nepal.

Pokhara is a gateway to the Annapurna mountain range and offers direct access to one of Nepal’s most popular leisure and adventure travel destinations.

Since 2009, flydubai has transported over 4.5 million passengers to and from Kathmandu; of these, 65% connect via Dubai via the flydubai and Emirates networks.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vise President of Commercial Operations at flydubai stated, “Nepal has long been an essential part of flydubai’s network. Our goal has been to provide a direct and convenient connection between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal since we began operations in Kathmandu seventeen years ago. By providing passengers with a smooth, nonstop connection to the nation’s tourism hub and an access point to one of South Asia’s most well-liked leisure and adventure locations, our daily flights to Pokhara are further solidifying that commitment.”

“Our expansion into Pokhara will cater to the growing demand for direct and convenient access to Western Nepal. We are making the trip easier, more comfortable, and more accessible for our clients by providing a direct connection that eliminates the need for numerous transfers or lengthy road trips. We would like to express our gratitude to the local authorities for the cordial welcome we got, and we look forward to greeting passengers on board our flights to enjoy Flydubai’s cutting-edge cabins, distinctive hospitality, and extensive selection of eating and entertainment options,” he continued.

At 12:00, Flight FZ1165 leaves Dubai International Terminal 3 and lands in Pokhara at 18:15. FZ1166, the return service, leaves Pokhara at 19:15 and reaches Dubai at 22:00. Every time is local.

Operating under flydubai’s codeshare collaboration with Emirates, the Pokhara service offers single-ticket purchasing, through-checked baggage, and access to over 140 destinations in Asia, Europe, and the Americas via Dubai.

Larnaca, Lisbon, London, New York, and Vienna are some of the major feeder markets from the Emirates network, while Bucharest, Dammam, Jeddah, Muscat, and Riyadh are popular onwards destinations from Nepal across the flydubai network.

Flydubai now offers more than 380 weekly flights to 20 South Asian locations, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, thanks to Pokhara’s addition to its network.

Roundtrip tickets from Pokhara start at NPR 80,500 in Economy Class and NPR 135,000 in Business Class, while roundtrip tickets from Dubai start at AED 1,950 in Economy Class and AED 5,400 in Business Class.

By offering links via the airline’s wider cargo network, the new route also increases flydubai’s cargo capacity between Nepal and Dubai.
