Malaysia Airlines and PayU establish MoU to improve Indian digital payments and bookings.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been struck by Malaysia Airlines and PayU to investigate digital payment options and booking initiatives with the goal of enhancing the customer experience and bolstering the airline’s relationship with Indian travellers.
The partnership will combine Malaysia Airlines’ global network with PayU’s digital payment ecosystem to investigate more practical payment choices, tailored deals, and projects aimed at streamlining the trip reservation process.
In order to promote reservations and grow their clientele in India, both businesses will assess co-branded marketing initiatives, special customer offers, and flexible payment options within the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding. Additionally, the alliance will investigate customised offerings for various traveller segments, such as leisure, luxury, student, and corporate passengers.

“Travel is a high-intent category where seamless payments, flexibility, and relevant offers can meaningfully influence the customer experience,” stated Hemang Dattani, Chief Business Officer, PayU Payments. Through this Memorandum of Understanding, PayU and Malaysia Airlines will investigate ways to improve the ease and seamlessness of digital bookings and payments while developing unique offerings for various traveller categories.
Dersenish Aresandiran, Chief Commercial Officer stated, “India remains an important and strategic market for Malaysia Airlines, and we are committed to making every journey more seamless, convenient, and rewarding for our customers. We will be able to investigate more practical and pertinent payment and interaction options that cater to the changing requirements and tastes of Indian tourists thanks to our partnership with PayU.”
