Norwegian Bella Opens Bookings for 2028 Mediterranean Season.

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has opened bookings for Norwegian Bella, its sixth and final Prima Class cruise ship, scheduled to debut in May 2028 with seven-day round-trip Mediterranean voyages departing from Barcelona, Spain. The announcement was made on October 20, 2026, marking a new milestone in the company’s fleet expansion.

Measuring approximately 1,129 feet in length and weighing 170,000 gross tons, Norwegian Bella will accommodate 3,921 guests at double occupancy. The vessel is expected to join Norwegian Aura as one of the largest ships in NCL’s fleet. Both ships are under construction at Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, with Norwegian Aura scheduled for delivery in May 2027.

The inaugural season will feature itineraries covering prominent Mediterranean destinations, including Palma de Mallorca in Spain, Marseille in France, and Rome, Florence and Salerno in Italy. The voyages will give travellers opportunities to explore historic cities, coastal attractions and cultural landmarks while enjoying the ship’s onboard facilities.

Norwegian Bella will feature Ocean Heights, a multi-level outdoor entertainment complex spanning decks 18 through 21. Attractions are planned to include waterslides, a ropes course, mini golf and adventure activities. The ship will also offer expanded outdoor leisure spaces, pools and family-friendly facilities.

Accommodation options will range from solo studios and inside cabins to balcony staterooms and nearly 2,000 rooms overall. The vessel will include 159 suites in The Haven by Norwegian, an exclusive area offering a private pool, restaurant, lounge, dedicated concierge and butler services.

According to NCL President Marc Kazlauskas, the ship brings together popular features and design improvements informed by guest feedback across the Prima Class.

With bookings now open, Norwegian Bella is positioned to strengthen NCL’s presence in the European cruise market, combining Mediterranean destinations with contemporary entertainment, family attractions and premium accommodation.
