Vietnam’s first Park Hyatt Resort opens in Phu Quoc in December.

As the first Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is scheduled to open in December 2026 and welcome visitors for the holiday season and New Year’s festivities. The resort, which combines Vietnamese charm with the comforts of home, is designed to feel like a private seaside apartment. It was conceived as a modern Vietnamese Village by the Sea.
Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is designed as a combination of courtyards, covered walks, and gardens intertwined with the natural landscape and going down to the sea, drawing inspiration from traditional Vietnamese coastal towns where several generations live, cook, and congregate. The resort will have 54 pool villas, 114 guestrooms and suites, and The Manor, an eight-bedroom private home that strikes a balance between community and solitude.
The fisherman, farmers, craftspeople, and cultural voices who form the island will tell the resort’s narrative. Visit the Whale Temple to discover the island’s sea-honoring customs, join rice farmers in the paddies, master open-net fishing techniques, or begin the day with a lotus blessing at sunrise. Black pepper plantations, traditional fish sauce homes, Phu Quoc National Park trails, and coral reefs teeming with marine life may all be found outside the resort. The Kids’ Village is a tiny village offering dance studios, cooking classes, and craft workshops for younger visitors.
As the village center, The Courtyard offers six dining options, two infinity pools, and a sunset bar. Fisherman’s, a floating restaurant above the waves where patrons choose seafood from a live tank; Herbs & Spice, which serves third-generation Vietnamese family recipes; La Maisonette, which offers dining inspired by the French Riviera; Pepper Grill, which celebrates Phu Quoc’s pepper heritage over an open fire; Pool House & Bar; and the Living Room, which specialises in Vietnamese coffee, cacao, and chocolate.
SOMA Wellbeing, Park Hyatt’s first rhythm-led living spa, is situated next to a lotus lake and is impacted by natural cycles and circadian rhythms. Modern recuperation aids including compression therapy, biotech loungers, and infrared masks will be used in addition to traditional Vietnamese remedies.
Interestingly, Phu Quoc International Airport is only 25 minutes away from Park Hyatt Phu Quoc. Singapore, China, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea, and India all have direct international flights to Phu Quoc. Reservations for arrivals starting on December 18, 2026, are currently being accepted at the Park Hyatt Phu Quoc.
