200-key Hyatt Place Dholera unveiled by GAP Group.

According to reports, GAP Group has started construction on Hyatt Place Dholera, a five-star hotel that is being created in collaboration with Hyatt. The project will introduce a globally renowned hospitality brand to the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) with 200 rooms, including 20 suites.

Former Gujarat Cabinet Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama and Dhandhuka MLA Kalubhai Dabhi performed during the event. The hotel’s finished design was unveiled by Hyatt Group General Manager Sonale Zagade, providing a preview of the future project. The dignitaries planted trees as part of the event.

Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat, also attended the event by visiting the Akhilam Township of GAP Group. He visited the Hyatt Place Dholera location as well as the Group’s other projects, such as the food court, coworking space, and Avant. Gujarat Chief Secretary M. K. Das, advisors to Chief Minister Hasmukh Adhia and S. S. Rathore, Managing Director Kuldeep Arya of Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL), and other high-ranking Gujarati officials accompanied him.

The Hyatt Place Dholera would rise to a height of about 65 meters and occupy about 2.6 lakh square feet of built-up space, including two basement floors. A restaurant, banquet hall, pre-function space, business conference facilities, swimming pool, gym, café, and lounge will all be available at the hotel. It is anticipated that its dinner and pre-function areas, along with an outdoor lawn, would hold about 500 people.

Speaking at the event, Gopal Goswami, Chairman of GAP Group, stated, “Dholera is entering an important phase of development, with several ongoing and upcoming industrial projects creating new opportunities.” The requirement for hospitality facilities to accommodate investors, business travellers, and other guests will increase as commercial activity increases. The Hyatt Place Dholera is a significant step toward addressing this requirement, and we think it will contribute to the future development of the area.

Ambrish Parajiya, Managing Director of GAP Group stated, “Since starting operations in 2014, GAP Group has been a part of Dholera’s development journey. We have seen the evolution of the area over the last ten years as the first private developer to start construction in the Dholera Activation Zone. We think that infrastructure supporting industry and commerce as well as the people who will reside, work, and do business here will be necessary for Dholera’s next stage of development. A significant move in that direction is the Hyatt Place Dholera. We are still optimistic about the potential of the area and intend to spend INR 2,500 crore in residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Dholera by 2030.”
