Miral, Etihad Rail sign MoU to link Abu Dhabi rail station to Yas Island.

Miral and Etihad Rail inked an MoU to strengthen connectivity between Etihad Rail’s Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Zayed City Station and Yas Island, giving passengers integrated transport alternatives to the destination’s major attractions.
The partnership will allow railway station customers to connect with Yas Island’s free Yas Express shuttle bus network, improving first- and last-mile connection between the national passenger train system and the recreational destination.
The shuttle service will take visitors to Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, and SeaWorld on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The cooperation encourages public transport and sustainable mobility while making Yas Island visits easier for UAE guests.
Increasing integrated transport connectivity
Lisa Goswell, Senior Vice President of Sales, Miral Destinations, stated, “As Yas Island continues to welcome guests from across the UAE and beyond, making travel to and around the destination as seamless as possible remains a key priority.”
She said, “Our collaboration with Etihad Rail represents an important step toward creating a more integrated journey, connecting rail travel with the Yas Express network to enhance accessibility and convenience for our guests.”
Etihad Rail Mobility Executive Director of Commercial and Support Adhraa Almansoori said, “Based on the UAE’s leadership’s vision to build a more connected and integrated transport ecosystem, we are focused on making passenger rail a practical and convenient part of how people move across the country. Through our cooperation with Miral, Etihad Rail Abu Dhabi Mohamed bin Zayed City Station customers can directly access Yas Island and its many attractions. Partnerships like these improve first- and last-mile connection and make it easier to combine train and other transport alternatives into one seamless journey.”
Future digital integration exploration
Miral and Etihad train will explore digital connectivity between respective transport systems beyond the shuttle connection to improve passenger journeys from train to Yas Island.
The two agencies will explore new ways to improve destination accessibility and integrate transport services as part of their long-term strategic partnership.
The cooperation is expected to boost Abu Dhabi tourism by enhancing access to Yas Island’s leisure attractions and boosting sustainable UAE travel.
