Disney Cruise Line to debut a Lion King-themed fireworks show featuring Shah Rukh Khan.
Disney Cruise Line has revealed “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky,” a brand-new, unique fireworks show that will make its premiere on the Disney Adventure. The show will continue Disney Cruise Line’s status as the only cruise line in the world to deliver fireworks at sea by transforming the night skies at sea with a visually engaging experience.
Shah Rukh Khan, a world renowned entertainer, will narrate the event, adding a huge new dimension to the experience. Khan will contribute his unique voice and narrative style to this new reinterpretation at sea. Khan previously portrayed Mufasa in the Hindi-language adaptations of The Lion King and Mufasa: The Lion King
In a magnificent homage to Disney’s The Lion King and the happy rhythms of life, “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky,” based on one of the company’s most popular movies, will light up the night sky. Families and friends are invited to join the spectacle on top of the ship to take in the breathtaking fireworks, dramatic lighting, and well-known music.
Guests may anticipate a lively musical experience in addition to a visual feast. Favourite songs from The Lion King movie, such as “Circle of Life,” “Hakuna Matata,” “He Lives in You,” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?” will be featured in the production. With creative arrangements of songs recorded by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the distinctive harmonies of the Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa, the musical score for the production will come to life. The Disney Adventure’s “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” is expected to be a powerful, emotionally charged experience.

On some evenings during the three- and four-night cruises on the Disney Adventure, “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” will be shown. While on board, guests can use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to obtain the most recent performance schedules.
Disney Cruise Line’s first ship to homeport in Asia will be the Disney Adventure, which will run short itineraries with days at sea with an emphasis on family friendly activities, dining, entertainment and shopping on board.
