Aloke Singh joins Indigo as Chief Strategy Officer
Aloke Singh has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer by the Board of InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo), bolstering the airline’s leadership team as it gets ready for its next stage of expansion.
In his new position, Singh will oversee enterprise-wide transformation projects and lead IndiGo’s long-term strategic planning department. Accelerating expansion, improving operational effectiveness, and fortifying the airline’s competitive advantage in a changing global aviation industry are all part of his mandate. In order to improve agility, enhance customer experience, and provide long-term shareholder value, he will collaborate closely with the executive team on cross-functional initiatives.
Singh has more than thirty years of expertise in the aviation industry, including operations, strategy development, and commercial roles. He has a proven track record of spearheading intricate transformation projects, accelerating growth, and overseeing extensive expansion plans.
He most recently held the positions of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Air India Express, where he significantly contributed to the airline’s transformation by speeding expansion and providing operational improvements. Additionally, he has held senior leadership roles in the strategy department of Oman Air and Air India.

He will move to reporting to the next Chief Executive after the future CEO takes office.
