Carnival Cruise Line launches Carnival Rewards.

Carnival prizes, a new loyalty program, expands how visitors may earn prizes and status across their cruise line interactions.
Carnival Rewards Points can be spent for cruises and certain onboard experiences, while Status Qualifying Stars define membership status and benefits. A lifetime sailing days milestone recognition program is also introduced.
The new cruise loyalty program rewards guests for qualified spending and other activities rather than sailing frequency.
Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy remarked, “Cruise loyalty has traditionally been built around how often guests sail, and Carnival Rewards went beyond that. New program recognises the many ways Carnival guests interact with us, and awards and status provide them more flexibility and value to enjoy their favourite events. Your cruise, Your rewards. Your way.”
Carnival Rewards gives visitors three Points each USD 1 spent on qualified Carnival purchases, including gratuities. Each Casino Point left at the end of a cruise earns them one Point. Points can be used for Carnival cruises, shore activities, specialised meals and spa treatments.
After a sailing, points will be credited 14 days later. Members of any status can redeem them once credited. Guest loyalty tiers will be determined by Status Qualifying Stars in Carnival Rewards. Members receive three Stars for every USD 1 spent on qualified Carnival items, including gratuities, and one Star each Casino Point earned.
Programming will have four status levels:
Red: Enrolment
Gold: 10,000 Stars
Platinum: 50,000 Stars
Diamond: 100,000 Stars
Status is obtained during a two-year qualifying window and retained for that period and the following two-year enjoying window. Members can earn Status Qualifying Stars during the first qualifying period from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028.
Carnival’s Milestone Recognition Program, which tracks members’ cruise days, complements Points and Stars. The program recognises customers’ long-term commitment with Carnival distinct from rewards points and status.
The Carnival Rewards Mastercard lets customers earn Points and Status Qualifying Stars on Carnival and daily purchases. Subject to restrictions, new cardmembers can receive 50,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days.
Combine card earnings with Carnival Rewards Points to earn six times more on eligible Carnival purchases. Members can earn double points on restaurant and supermarket purchases and one point per dollar on other eligible spending.
The card lets members earn up to four Status Qualifying Stars on qualified Carnival purchases when combined with Carnival Rewards Stars, and one Star on other transactions.
An yearly 2,500-point anniversary incentive after spending USD 2,000 and a six-month promotional 0% APR on Carnival cruise bookings are also available. Carnival Rewards recognises sailing and spending and gives members more freedom in earning and using rewards across their Carnival experience.
