Thailand Golf Travel Mart 2026 brings 49 buyers and 63 Thai sellers.

At the major trade show of the Thailand Golf Travel Mart (TGTM) 2026, which took place at Topgolf Megacity in Bangna on September 15, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) brought together 63 Thai vendors and 49 foreign buyer businesses.
In addition to showcasing options to mix golf with wellness, cuisine, culture, shopping, and other activities throughout Thailand, TAT’s annual B2B marketplace for golf tourism linked worldwide golf travel experts with Thai golf and tourism enterprises.
Participants were able to explore new itineraries and business opportunities through the program’s pre-arranged business appointments, free-flow trade meetings, media product testing, and a Thailand golf tourism product update.
Kittipong Prapattong, TAT Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research, and Development stated, “Golf is an important part of Thailand’s Value over Volume strategy because the visitor experience extends well beyond the round. We are demonstrating how golf can be a part of a larger journey via healing, wellbeing, cuisine, culture, and Thai hospitality under the heading “Healing is the New Luxury.” Our trade partners will have direct access to the courses, resorts, and operators that can create itineraries for their customers thanks to TGTM 2026.”
Kittipong showcased Thailand’s golf offerings in four different geographic locations during the product update. While the South blends beach and links-style features with health experiences, the North provides highland golf amid valleys and mountain scenery. River plains, waterways, and reservoirs shape valley golf in the Northeast.
With a variety of championship, resort, and recreational golf courses, Bangkok, the Central Plains, and the Eastern Seaboard collectively make up the nation’s most concentrated golfing heartland.
Over 250 golf courses with year-round playing conditions may be found in Thailand. Opportunities for multi-destination golf itineraries are also being created by improved transportation connectivity, such as road connections to the Eastern Seaboard, Kanchanaburi, and the Northeast, as well as U-Tapao International Airport as a gateway to the Eastern Seaboard.
Golf courses, hotels and resorts, destination management firms, and golf-related tourist enterprises were among the Thai vendors at TGTM 2026, while international buyers represented North America, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Northeast Asia.
The afternoon session allowed participants to design programs, negotiate products, and explore opportunities throughout Thailand’s golf hotspots by combining scheduled visits with unstructured trade interactions.
Golf technology, practice and driving range solutions, green-energy golf carts, golfer health services and information on golf courses throughout Thailand were all on display during a special media product-testing program that coincided with the trade sessions. An evening networking event at Topgolf Megacity marked the end of the day.
A networking golf tournament at The Royal Gems Golf and Sports Club in Nakhon Pathom, some 35 km west of Bangkok, kicked off TGTM 2026 on September 14.
Buyers, sellers, and media representatives participated in an individual stroke-play competition with a System 36 scoring system. An evening networking event and prize presentation followed. Bangkok Airways, Golfdigg, LEBORN, Alpine Golf Club, Springfield Royal Country Club, and Pattana Sports Resort sponsored the awards.
TAT is pushing the travel industry to create itineraries that combine golf with complimentary Thai experiences in various places through TGTM 2026. The strategy aims to encourage longer stays, spread tourism activity throughout areas, and increase prospects for travel-related enterprises across the nation.
