RIU Hotels & Resorts to showcase its all-inclusive portfolio at OTM Mumbai 2026.

RIU Hotels & Resorts, the Spain-headquartered international hospitality firm, is poised to participate in OTM Mumbai 2026, planned to be held from February 5 to 7, 2026.

There are currently 98 properties run by RIU properties & Resorts in 21 different countries. RIU is the fourth-biggest hotel group in Spain by number of rooms and one of the most well-known hospitality brands in the Caribbean. It is ranked as the 40th largest hotel chain in the world.

Ahead of OTM Mumbai 2026, RIU Hotels and Resorts sponsored a private networking evening for select travel trade partners and media at La Panthera. RIU Hotels and Resorts’ Director of Business Development for Asia, Petra Gauthey, and Business Development Manager for India, Stuti Sharma, hosted the event

Speaking about RIU’s India strategy, Gauthey said, “India is a strategically important and growing source market for RIU Resorts, where the brand has been actively present for the past eight years. RIU’s approach in India is on developing sustainable, long-term demand through clear brand positioning and close partnership with the travel trade.”

She also emphasised the brand’s primary focus destinations for Indian travellers, noting, “RIU’s priority markets for Indian travellers include Mauritius, Maldives and Sri Lanka, which continue to perform well due to strong air connectivity, destination familiarity and their strong leisure appeal.”

“The RIU All-Inclusive resort concept resonates strongly with the Indian market, offering transparent pricing, consistent service standards, and a wide range of dining, entertainment, and leisure facilities within the resort,” she continued, highlighting the significance of the brand’s product offering.

“Participation in OTM supports RIU’s objective to further strengthen relationships with trade partners, enhance product and brand understanding, and align expectations around RIU’s All-Inclusive offering,” Gauthey stated in reference to the brand’s attendance at OTM Mumbai 2026. This participation reaffirms RIU’s long-term commitment to the Indian market and supports structured, responsible expansion across the Indian Ocean region.”
