Hilton and Royal Orchid Hotels Partner to Develop 125 Hampton by Hilton Hotels.

A strategic deal to sign and open 125 Hampton by Hilton hotels in India was announced by Royal Orchid Hotels Limited and Hilton. The collaboration speeds up Hilton’s higher midscale expansion in India, where the country’s burgeoning middle class and increased domestic travel are creating significant mid-market potential. In addition to the more than 3,100 Hampton by Hilton properties that are traded worldwide, the franchised hotels will mostly be built in western and southern areas, such as Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
“Our new strategic partnership with the Royal Orchid Hotels demonstrates our commitment to working with established local operators, enabling us to scale our franchise footprint rapidly while maintaining the strength and consistency of Hilton’s brands,” stated Alan Watts, President, Asia Pacific, Hilton.
Arjun Baljee, President of Royal Orchid Hotels stated, “Working with Hilton to develop 125 Hampton properties is a strategic leap in our 50-year journey. Along with the internationally recognised Hampton brand experience, it supports our philosophy of supporting India’s mid-market category with hotels that offer excellent value, efficient service, and smart design.” In addition to providing visitors from all over the nation with a first-rate stay, the hotel industry will provide jobs for local communities over the next ten years.
With locations in 46 countries worldwide, Hampton by Hilton is the company’s biggest brand in terms of hotels. The new properties take part in Hilton Honours, a guest loyalty program for Hilton’s 26 different hotel brands.
Under the leadership of Keshav Baljee, Executive Director of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, Hampton by Hilton and Regenta Hotels Private Limited have struck this strategic alliance. “Our portfolio is a healthy mix of owned, managed, and franchised properties, and this partnership with Hilton will drive significant growth in the country’s mid-market hospitality segment. We see a big chance to extend the Hampton by Hilton brand throughout Indian cities and enhance our family of Regenta hotels as domestic travel keeps increasing and new economic hubs appear around the nation, stated Baljee
By establishing franchise conditions across a sizable portfolio of new developments at once, this relationship is Hilton’s third of its kind in India, building on the momentum of previous agreements that are speeding development.
“Hampton by Hilton delivers industry-leading returns for owners through an efficient operating model and broad guest appeal. This deal further demonstrates the Hampton brand’s strength on a worldwide scale and our faith in the long-term expansion of India’s midmarket hospitality industry,” stated Christian Charnaux, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Hilton.
