The signing of a Taj hotel in Mohali, Punjab, was announced by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL). This project is a greenfield one.
The development of Mohali as a flourishing commercial and IT hub is a major growth market in Punjab, according to Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL. This supports our plan to grow in these high-potential sectors, as does the state’s growing popularity as a wedding and social event destination.
Uninterrupted views of the surrounding vegetation will be available from the 225-key Taj Mohali. A variety of gastronomic alternatives will be available at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, bar and speciality restaurant. A swimming pool, a gym, a health club, and Taj’s renowned J Wellness Circle are among the leisure and wellness amenities. The hotel will provide the largest event space in the area with a banqueting area of more than 26,000 square feet, making it perfect for social gatherings, business events, and weddings.
