Lemon Tree Hotels adds 12th Gujarat property.

Lemon Tree Hotels officially opened its 12th operational property in Gujarat today, launching the Lemon Tree Hotel, Bharuch. Managed by its asset-light subsidiary, Carnation Hotels Private Limited, this newest addition is strategically placed to capture the heavy industrial, commercial, and leisure transit traffic flowing through Western India’s booming economic corridors.
Situated prominently along the Narmada River, the 85-key midscale property caters directly to corporate travellers navigating the nearby manufacturing powerhouses of Ankleshwar, Dahej, Surat, and Vadodara. The hotel features premium business and leisure amenities, including the brand’s signature multi-cuisine dining venue (Citrus Café), extensive banquet and conference facilities, a fitness centre, and a rejuvenating Fresco Spa.
Beyond serving industrial clients, the hotel acts as a prime regional transit hub. It provides seamless weekend getaways and holiday stopovers for tourists heading to the historic island of Kabirvad or the world-renowned Statue of Unity. Accessibility is a core highlight: the property sits just 7 km from the main Bharuch Railway Station and is positioned roughly 70–75 km from both the Surat and Vadodara airports. To mark the launch, the group rolled out a competitive inaugural room rate starting at ₹5,499++ per night.
This opening marks an aggressive acceleration in Lemon Tree’s broader expansion playbook. The hospitality giant has officially confirmed a pipeline of 20 additional hotels currently under development across Gujarat. By scaling rapidly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, the chain is positioning itself to capture the massive surge in India’s regional business travel and domestic weekend tourism.
