Clarks Collection enters Uttarkashi, targeting growing leisure and pilgrimage travel.

In a calculated move into one of Uttarakhand’s developing hospitality areas, Clarks Collection has announced the inauguration of its newest resort, Clarks Collection Uttarkashi. In line with the rising demand for high-quality lodging in the area, the hotel is well-positioned to serve both religious and leisure tourists and has good connections to surrounding states.
Clarks Collection plans to take use of its first-mover advantage in this developing market since there isn’t already a significant branded mid-scale or luxury property operating in the area. The brand’s plan to capitalise on India’s growing religious market and the aspirational middle class’s growing need for high-quality lodging is also in line with the new opening.
The hotel offers 48 luxurious rooms in various categories that combine comfort and contemporary conveniences. A banquet space and an all-day dining restaurant with a variety of cuisines are available to guests, giving them a full hospitality experience in one location.
Prakash Bedi, Vice President of Clarks Collection, commented on the launch, saying, “Uttarkashi is an emerging market that has not received enough high-quality hospitality.” With this establishment, we hope to provide both local and international passengers with the distinctive Clarks experience, friendly service, elegant comfort, and outstanding value.
“The property also strengthens our brand’s presence in Uttarakhand and complements our ongoing expansion across key Tier-II and Tier-III cities, where demand for branded hospitality is on the rise,” he continues.
