Summit Hotels & Resorts Launches “The Mandir Collection” for Spiritual Travel.
The Mandir Collection, a new hospitality brand centred on pilgrimage sites and spiritually inspired travel experiences around India, has been introduced by Summit Hotels & Resorts.
With the launch, Summit enters the quickly expanding spiritual tourism market, which has seen rising demand due to infrastructural development, better connectivity, and greater interest in wellness-driven and faith-based travel.
The company has chosen Salasar as the first property in the portfolio as part of the launch of the new brand. Summit Salasar, The Mandir Collection, a new hotel, is marketed as a high-end spiritual retreat that welcomes devotees, families, wellness tourists, and destination-led events.
The property is anticipated to have about 70 rooms and villas, including private pool villas, along with carefully chosen experiences influenced by Indian traditions and spirituality, according to the company.
A Satvik dining concept, temple support services, wellness-focused experiences, devotional evening sessions, banquet and outdoor event spaces, and proximity to the Salasar Balaji Temple are among the planned amenities.

According to the company, it intends to progressively extend The Mandir Collection along important Indian pilgrimage routes and spiritual locations. Future prospects in places like Haridwar and Ayodhya, as well as other developing hubs for faith-based travel, are also being assessed by Summit Hotels and Resorts.
