The Sikkim Travel and Tourism Fair (STTF), scheduled for November 21–22, 2026, at Ridge Park, Gangtok, would unite tourism stakeholders to highlight the state’s variety of travel experiences and fortify ties between Sikkim’s tourist sector and the broader travel trade.
The goal of the fair, which is being organised by Panda Event Management in association with the Government of Sikkim’s Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, is to give travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, homestay operators, hospitality professionals, tourism entrepreneurs, and other industry stakeholders a shared platform.
Sikkim’s tourism offerings in the areas of nature and adventure, rural and community-based tourism, culture and heritage, wellness, food, homestays, and sustainable tourism experiences will all be highlighted at the event.
Promoting new and lesser-known locations throughout the state will be a major priority, as will giving local tourism businesses and community-based projects more exposure. It is anticipated that the platform will allow local stakeholders to investigate new markets, create tourism offerings for various traveller categories, and establish direct connections with travel trade partners.
B2B exchanges, destination presentations, networking events, and promotional activities will all be included in the expo, giving attendees the chance to learn from one another, comprehend new travel trends, and consider possible joint ventures.
By promoting ethical, sustainable, and immersive tourist development, the program also aims to bolster Sikkim’s tourism ecology.
Through STTF, the organisers hope to highlight Sikkim as a place where adventure, culture, ecology, and community-based experiences all come together while generating new chances for local jobs and tourism-driven economic activity.
