The third daily Delhi-London Heathrow flight by British Airways

In response to rising demand on the route, British Airways has expanded its Delhi-London Heathrow frequency to three daily flights, improving connectivity between India and the UK.
The increased schedule began on September 20, 2026, when the airline’s third daily service touched down in Delhi at 6:00 am. British Airways’ fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft will be used for the extra journey.
During the winter, British Airways will run up to 70 weekly flights between India and London Heathrow thanks to the new frequency, which is a 25% increase over the previous year. To commemorate the expansion, the airline is also providing discounted tickets from Delhi to London.
Earlier this month, the airline said that one of the most popular routes on its website was London-Delhi, demonstrating ongoing demand between the two markets.
According to Lisa Tremble, Chief Customer and People Officer at British Airways, “India is one of our most important markets, and the arrival of our third daily Delhi service reflects our continued confidence in the region.”
“This additional flight strengthens the links that support trade, tourism, education, and cultural ties between India and the UK while offering our customers more options and flexibility. We are pleased to be growing our footprint in India and making investments in the people, routes, and services that are most important to our clients,” she continued.
Onwards links to locations throughout the United States and other markets via London Heathrow are planned for the new Delhi service.
There are now five Indian locations served by British Airways. It offers daily flights to London Heathrow from Hyderabad and Chennai, up to three daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai, and up to two daily flights from Bengaluru.
