In Hong Kong, FCM introduces Meetings & Events services.

In order to assist companies with corporate meetings, events, and incentive travel, FCM Travel is growing its Meetings & Events (M&E) presence in Greater China by introducing M&E services in Hong Kong.
Peter Chau has been appointed by FCM as Meetings & Events Manager, Hong Kong, with effect from September 1, 2026, as part of the expansion. Chau has almost thirty years of MICE experience.
With 2.51 million MICE visitors in 2025 a seven percent increase from the previous year Hong Kong’s MICE industry is still growing. Additionally, it comes after FCM’s own M&E division in Greater China experienced robust growth, almost doubling year over year in FY26.
With services including venue procurement, event and group travel, managed meetings, and event management, FCM Meetings & Events assists clients throughout the event lifecycle. With the use of technology and data, its teams oversee a variety of events, including conferences, incentive trips, product launches, award ceremonies, and networking gatherings, giving organisations more visibility and control over their M&E initiatives.
Manpreet Bindra, FCM Meetings & Events Leader, Asia stated, “Hong Kong continues to strengthen its position as one of Asia’s leading business events hubs, and we see significant opportunity for FCM in this market. Businesses are expecting their meetings and events to provide real value, and they are becoming more deliberate about how and why they bring people together. With Peter on board, we’re in a strong position to expand our clientele in Hong Kong thanks to his extensive local knowledge and our strengths in Greater China and around the world.”
With experience in client management, supplier coordination, and on-the-ground event execution, Chau has worked on projects in Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania. The Taiwan Tourism Bureau awarded him an Individual Award in 2015, and Switzerland Tourism named him a Switzerland M.I.C.E. Specialist in 2017.
“I look forward to working closely with clients to understand what they want to achieve and drawing on my experience to deliver events that meet their business objectives and create a lasting impact,” stated Chau.
