China Eastern Airlines will resume Kunming–Kolkata flights from April 18.
China Eastern Airlines has stated that flights between Kunming and Kolkata will resume on April 18, 2026, following the successful revival of its Delhi–Shanghai service. The airline’s goal to improving air connectivity between China and India is fulfilled by this calculated restart. Both Business and Economy Class rooms will be available on the six weekly flights on this new route.

Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Flight MU556 from Kolkata (CCU) to Kunming (KMG) departs at 01:10 and arrives at 06:20.
Kunming (KMG) to Kolkata (CCU): Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Flight MU555 takes off at 23:55 and arrives at 00:10 the next day.
