NMIA’s summer itinerary now includes 46 domestic destinations.
Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) has expanded its domestic network to 46 destinations with the announcement of its first summer timetable, which will run from March 29 to October 24, 2026.
Thirty new domestic flights are added to the schedule, connecting the airport to various business, tourism, and religious hubs throughout India. The Indian cities with the highest percentage of daily departures are Delhi (9), Goa (7), Bengaluru (6), and Cochin (5), closely followed by Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Indore.
During this time, three Indian airlines IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express will run more flights from the airport, expanding network coverage and capacity.
It is anticipated that flight operations will increase to 1,092 air traffic movements per week, or 156 movements per day on average.
By April 2026, average daily departures are expected to increase from 22 at debut to 78. Under its first summer schedule, NMIA, which started commercial operations on December 25, 2025, is increasing capacity.
In addition to supporting growing passenger demand in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), one of India’s biggest urban and economic centers, the expansion is anticipated to enhance connectivity between Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
