Jashpur District Administration and Homestays of India sign an MoU.
On January 25, 2026, HomeStays of India and the Jashpur District Administration, Government of Chhattisgarh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which is a major step in establishing Jashpur as the state’s responsible and sustainable tourism destination.
In front of state officials and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the deal was formalised by Vinod Verma, CEO of Homestays of India, and Rohit Vyas, District Collector, Jashpur. Village Kere in Jashpur has been adopted by Homestays of India as part of this partnership, and the two organisations will collaborate closely to develop a framework.
As the first organised homestay hamlet in Jashpur, Kere will serve as the foundation of a planned and expandable homestay led rural tourist ecosystem. Through focused capacity building and skill development, the project is anticipated to actively engage local households, boost sustainable livelihoods, and promote entrepreneurship among women and youth.
