Explora Journeys signs LOI for first luxury river ships.

With the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Dutch shipbuilder Den Breejen Shipyard to build its first river ships, Explora Journeys is getting ready to enter the luxury river cruise market.
Explora Journeys intends to expand its hospitality concept beyond ocean voyages to some of Europe’s most notable rivers.
Since its inception, the company has centred its ocean cruise line around its Ocean State of Mind concept, fusing European hospitality and design with sea travel and destination exploration. As it builds its first boats for the market, Explora Journeys now plans to apply a similar strategy to river cruising.
The creation of the new river fleet has begun with the deal with Den Breejen Shipyard.
The ships’ design, onboard experiences, delivery timetable, and first itineraries have not yet been disclosed.
According to Explora Journeys, sales for its river cruise service are scheduled to begin in 2027; more information will be disclosed later.
