With 160 keys, Atmosphere Core joins the Shirdi market.

Atmosphere Core and Assotech Realty have partnered to develop an all-suite, high-end hotel property in Shirdi. Ideally situated within thirty minutes from Shirdi International Airport, SANDAL SUITES by Atmosphere Shirdi is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2028.
Salil Panigrahi, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Atmosphere Core states, “India’s spiritual tourism sector is entering a new phase, with destinations like Shirdi seeing demand beyond devotional travel. Even in pilgrimage sites, modern tourists demand comfort, carefully chosen experiences, and service that is benchmarked worldwide. Our partnership with Assotech Realty enables us to apply our hospitality knowledge to a location with strong cultural significance and year-round demand.” The idea is intended to be a comfortable retreat that combines the serene, spiritual ambiance of Shirdi with friendly hospitality.
The all-suite upper luxury hotel, which will operate under the “by Atmosphere” sub-brand of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, will have 160 suites, each measuring 45 square meters and meticulously built to capture views of the serene landscapes and verdant surrounds of western India.
The facility offers a variety of carefully chosen indoor and outdoor activities, including a spa and wellness center run by Atmosphere Core’s renowned wellness brand ELE|NA Ayur, which will provide a tranquil haven with a view of the pilgrimage corridor. The resort will have boardrooms, banquets, large lawns, outdoor event spaces, and contemporary indoor conference areas.
Neeraj Gulati, Managing Director of Assotech Realty stated, “Our collaboration with Atmosphere Core reflects our belief that spiritual destinations deserve thoughtfully designed hospitality experiences that respect their cultural essence while meeting modern traveller expectations. This project aims to contribute to Shirdi’s next phase of expansion as a comprehensive tourism destination for pilgrims, families, and experiential visitors, rather than just adding rooms to the city’s inventory. In order to satisfy the needs of younger devotees, we are building an all-suite property with cosy lodging. In particular, facilities offering all-suite accommodations and longer stays are preferred by millions of NRI and HNI, including fanatics.”
Souvagya Mohapatra, Managing Director of Atmosphere Core for India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka stated, “Western India, particularly pilgrimage destinations, have always held strategic importance in our expansion journey. Shirdi is a shining example of spirituality, drawing followers from all over the world with its peaceful atmosphere and rich history. We are excited to make our debut in this esteemed area and are sure that our collaboration will create a destination that offers outstanding value and experience.”
