Kris Reynolds gets promoted as General Manager at Hyatt Place Vadodara.
A major turning point in Kris Reynolds‘ 17 year career in hospitality has been reached with the appointment of Reynolds as Hyatt Place Vadodara‘s new general manager. Reynolds, a seasoned Hyatt employee who rose through the ranks at the same establishment, is now in his first position as general manager. Reynolds joined the pre opening team in 2021 as Director of Sales, and he has worked with Hyatt Place Vadodara for more than four years. He was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2023 and Director of Sales & Marketing in 2022 as a result of his strategic leadership and excellent performance. In his most recent position, he made a major contribution to the success of Vadodara’s first Hyatt hotel by boosting team engagement, increasing productivity and bringing about noticeable gains in visitor satisfaction.
In his remarks regarding his appointment, Reynolds said he is proud to be leading a team that he has developed with and that Hyatt Place Vadodara feels like home. In order to provide unique experiences for both business and leisure travellers, he continued, his vision for the hotel is centred on agility, empathy and innovation. It also emphasises intuitive service, customisation and close attention to guest feedback. Before moving on to important sales leadership positions at the Grand Hyatt Goa, Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Park Hyatt Chennai, Reynolds started his career with Hyatt in 2010 as a Sales Executive at the Hyatt Area Sales Office. Along the way, he has worked for several well known hospitality companies like Ramada Powai and The Westin Hyderabad. With an emphasis on consistent revenue performance and service excellence, Reynolds will steer Hyatt Place Vadodara into its next stage of expansion in his new position.
