Princess Cruises announces 48 cruises and four ships for Northern Europe’s 2027 season.
An extended deployment package featuring a number of combinable itineraries will be the focal point of Princess Cruises‘ freshly announced summer season in Northern Europe. The Sky Princess, Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, and Caribbean Princess are the four ships that will be part of the company’s deployment. Princess claims that there will be 48 voyages available for booking during the season, which can be done separately or in combination.
According to the company, new open-jaw alternatives that provide extremely port intensive destination itineraries are the lineup’s highlights. Itineraries will sail from Northern Europe and visit six different regions: the British Isles, the Atlantic, the Mediterranean, the Baltics, and Iceland. Princess ships will visit 54 locations across 18 countries, including the picturesque fjords of Iceland and Norway, Barcelona, Oslo, Reykjavik, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Belfast, and Amsterdam. There will be five homeports in the cruise program: Southampton, Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Helsinki, and Fort Lauderdale. According to the princess, the itineraries will also provide cultural access, including scheduled excursions to mediaeval capitals like Visby and UNESCO sites, as well as “smaller gems” like Akureyri and Seyðisfjörður. Additionally, the cruises will visit “world-class capitals,” such as Stockholm, Edinburgh, and Barcelona, according to the business.
One of the company’s emphasised departures is an eight-night round-trip sailing journey to the British Isles from the port of Southampton on June 25, 2027. In addition to ports at Falmouth, Dun Laoghaire (for Dublin), Belfast, and Greenock, the voyage, named “Irish Counties & Scottish Shores,” will include an overnight stay at Cobh. The ten-night “Norwegian & Iceland Fjords” journey, which departs Copenhagen for Reykjavik on July 10, 2027, is another aspect of the deployment. Visits to Kristiansand, Skagen, Stavanger, Nordfjordeid, Molde, Akureyri, Isafjordur, and Grundarfjordur are all included in the itinerary. The 14-night “Scandinavia and Baltic Adventure” trip, which departs Southampton and ends in Helsinki, is another one of the featured sailings. Zeebrugge (for Brussels/Bruges), Rotterdam, Oslo, Kristiansand, Skagen, Copenhagen, Warnemünde (for Berlin), Bornholm, Gdansk (Gdynia), Visby, and Tallinn are on the itinerary, which departs on May 15, 2027.
