The Outrigger Phi Phi Island resort opens.

In addition to hotels in Koh Samui, Khao Lak, and Phuket, OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group has announced the launch of OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort in Thailand, greeting its first visitors.

Jeff Wagoner, President & CEO of OUTRIGGER Hospitality Group, stated, “The resort, which has 63 suites and villas, is located inside Hat Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park’s protected limits. The offering is dominated by three types of lodging: the Beachfront Pool Villa, which is situated right on the sand; the Family Garden Villa, which is surrounded by tropical gardens; and the Hilltop Ocean View Pool Villa, which has a private infinity pool and views of the sea. What we’ve built at Phi Phi Island is genuinely unique a resort that blends in with one of Thailand’s most stunning locations while respecting the ecology and culture that make it unique. This opening is a reflection of OUTRIGGER’s long-term commitment to Thailand, and I believe it will be unlike anything they’ve experienced before.”

The resort, which is only reachable by boat, is located inside a national park with strictly regulated development. As the Andaman horizon opens in front of them, guests come by water and tread onto the sand. “Nit Thra,” a Thai concept focused on the spirit of rest, serves as the inspiration for the resort’s rooms and villas.

The resort’s Mala Kitchen employs resident cooks that follow the “Samrub Thai” ideology. The Edgewater Bar & Grill offers tropical cocktails, flavourful curries and fresh local seafood. Zeavola Spa offers relaxation journeys based on regional botanicals and Southern Thai wellness methods. Coral Kids Club, an adolescent area, is one of the additional amenities.
