By making its inventory accessible through Global Distribution Systems (GDS), such as Amadeus, AIRCAIRO has improved its distribution capabilities in addition to the BSP activation. Additionally, the airline has launched GLID, Aeroprime Group’s Modern Retailing Platform, giving travel partners a another way to access booking services, inventory, and rates.
The airline claims that the measures are a part of its larger commercial growth strategy and strengthen its dedication to the Indian market, which continues to be a major area of focus due to growing tourism, business travel, and connectivity between Egypt, India, and other international destinations.
Hussein Sherif, Chairman and CEO of AIRCAIRO stated, “The activation of AIRCAIRO on IATA BSP India represents a significant milestone in our commercial expansion strategy and reinforces our long-term commitment to the Indian market, one of the most dynamic and strategically important aviation markets globally. “As we continue to expand our presence in key international markets, AIRCAIRO remains focused on delivering accessible, dependable, and value-driven travel solutions while strengthening air links between Egypt and India. In addition to establishing AIRCAIRO as a preferred airline linking India with Egypt and our expanding network of destinations throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, we see this development as a significant step toward promoting tourism, business travel, and cultural interchange,” he continued.
Abhishek Goyal, CEO and Executive Director of Aeroprime Group stated, “The activation of AIRCAIRO on IATA BSP India represents a major step forward in improving the airline’s distribution landscape in the country. Travel partners now have numerous effective ways to access the airline’s goods and services thanks to AIRCAIRO’s availability on top GDS platforms and its connection with GLID, Aeroprime’s airline retailing platform. As AIRCAIRO’s Passenger and Cargo GSA in India, we are thrilled to back the airline’s aspirational expansion goals and bolster its position in one of the fastest-growing outbound travel markets globally.”
Now that the BSP has been activated, authorised IATA travel agents in India can start issuing AIRCAIRO tickets right away.
