With 175 keys, Radisson enhances its foothold in South India.

The hotel hopes to establish itself as a top location for conferences, social gatherings, luxury weddings, and business offsites by offering banqueting and outdoor spaces.
The Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Mysore, marking the launch of its luxury lifestyle brand in the “City of Palaces,” as part of its strategic objective to increase its premium footprint across high-potential and culturally significant destinations. The Group’s emphasis on strengthening its position in Karnataka is demonstrated by this signing. With the Radisson Collection Hotel and Spa in Riverfront Srinagar currently open and a robust pipeline that includes the Radisson Collection Resort & Spa in Jaipur and the Radisson Collection Hotel at Navi Mumbai International Airport, Radisson Collection is the Group’s carefully chosen luxury portfolio of iconic properties.
There will be 175 rooms and suites at the Radisson Collection Hotel in Mysore, together with renowned restaurants and flexible meeting and event space. The hotel hopes to establish itself as a top location for conferences, social gatherings, luxury weddings, and business offsites by offering banqueting and outdoor spaces.
With its established weddings market, growing corporate activity, and solid leisure foundations, Mysore offers us a compelling growth prospect, but it is still under-represented in the luxury market. We are able to re-enter the city with a flagship luxury product that is in line with changing demand patterns thanks to the signing of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Mysore. Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, stated, “This development enhances our portfolio in South India and supports our overarching strategy of deploying Radisson Collection in destinations that exhibit long-term demand depth, strong rate potential, and relevance across leisure, MICE, and social segments.”
The new hotel is anticipated to serve a wide range of visitors from leisure, wedding, and MICE markets by utilising Mysore’s robust tourism foundation as well as the city’s manufacturing sector and traditional industries like sandalwood and silk production. The project offers a fantastic chance to expand the Group’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio by launching a flagship Radisson Collection resort in South India.
“This agreement represents our plan to launch the Radisson Collection in underserved but culturally diverse markets and is a major step in enhancing our luxury presence in South India. Mysore is the perfect location for a flagship Radisson Collection hotel because of its historical significance, high weekend demand, and extensive social and MICE possibilities. We are excited to create a landmark facility that blends the city’s timeless cultural identity with the brand’s international standards,” stated Davashish Srivastava, Senior Director, Development, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group.
“Our collaboration with the Radisson Hotel Group to introduce the Radisson Collection to Mysore marks a turning point for both the city’s upscale hospitality scene and for us personally. Mysore is the perfect location for a Radisson Collection hotel because of its widespread renown as a heritage destination and its growing desire for upmarket experiences. Our goal is to provide a historic location that honours the city’s royal past while providing modern elegance, top-notch service, and outstanding venues for events, weddings, and leisure visitors. We have no doubt that this hotel will revolutionise luxury hospitality in Mysore and establish itself as a top destination for affluent visitors,” stated KN Zubair Ahmed, the founder and chairman of Zed Group.
