Thomas Cook India and SOTC reannounce direct charters from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad to Bhutan.

In order to provide direct, seamless connectivity during India’s busiest holiday season, Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its group company SOTC Travel have announced their Summer 2026 charter flights to Bhutan from Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Thomas Cook India & SOTC’s 2026 charter program builds on the success of the previous two years by providing a variety of air charter-inclusive tour offerings that will provide Indian consumers in important South and West Indian markets with more value. Notably, the only Indian travel agencies offering non-stop connectivity for passengers from South India are Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel, who operate charter flights to Bhutan from Bengaluru.

Several departures have been planned to take advantage of the important Indian summer vacation period: from Ahmedabad on May 3, 10, and 17, 2026, and from Bengaluru on April 24 and May 1, 8, and 15, 2026. Gangtey is a recent addition to the portfolios of Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel.

Five different group tour categories—Budget, Standard, Value, Extravaganza, and Premium have been developed by Summer 2026 Charters to offer flexibility and value, allowing visitors to choose vacations that suit their tastes and price ranges. It is also claimed that co-curated itineraries based on personal preferences are available.

The partnership’s tour offers regional meals, immersive experiences, and a tour manager who speaks Gujarati for departures from Ahmedabad and Kannada for Bengaluru.

Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head – Holidays, MICE, Visa, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, stated “We are proud to be the only travel service providers in India operating charter flights to Bhutan from Bengaluru, strengthening direct access for customers across South India. With several departures, an alluring Special Saver Program, and the addition of Gangtey, we have improved our offering for the summer of 2026. We provide more value, convenience, and flexibility to our clients by offering personalised vacations that are co-curated around individual travel tastes in addition to our all-inclusive group tours.”

“Our charters from Ahmedabad and Bengaluru are meant to provide easy access to this location throughout the popular summer vacation season. We are committed to providing our clients with outstanding value and a unique vacation experience by fusing direct charter connectivity, carefully planned itineraries, local culinary preferences, and our skilled tour managers,” stated S.D. Nandakumar, President & Country Head Holidays and Corporate Tours, SOTC Travel Limited.
