Starting on March 29, ANA will run daily flights between Mumbai and Tokyo.

On March 29, 2026, All Nippon Airways (ANA) will increase the frequency of its Narita–Mumbai route from five to seven round-trips per week to daily operations. The improved timetable, which would bolster aviation connectivity between India and Japan during the busiest travel period, will be in place until July 17, 2026.

The move represents part of ANA Holdings’ international network growth for FY2026, with the airline growing its overseas capacity to 105 per cent compared to previous years in response to healthy demand

The updated schedule calls for daily flights between Narita and Mumbai on NH 829 and NH 830. Additionally, ANA has confirmed that the route will continue with three weekly round-trips from July 18 to August 31, 2026, guaranteeing connection until the end of the summer.

As outbound leisure, corporate, and VFR traffic continues to gradually improve, ANA will continue to operate daily services on its Haneda–Delhi route in India, demonstrating its dedication to the market.

In order to better meet seasonal demand, ANA is adjusting capacity throughout its larger international network outside of India. This includes the seasonal operation of the Narita–Vancouver route and an expansion in Haneda–Milan services to daily flights during the second part of the fiscal year. From August 2026, the carrier will begin introducing Boeing 787-9 aircraft equipped with its latest Business Class product, THE Room FX, alongside new Premium Economy and Economy Class seats, with specific itineraries to be disclosed later

In order to accommodate peak summer travel demand, ANA intends to run at roughly 98% of last year’s frequency domestically, with brief boosts on a number of routes, notably Haneda–Sapporo, Itami–Okinawa, Chubu–Sapporo, and Fukuoka–Sapporo.

For Indian agencies, the transition to daily Mumbai operations is likely to translate into greater availability, stronger Japan itineraries, and smoother onwards connections across ANA’s broader network.
