IHCL indicators Patna’s 500-key Taj hotel in Bihar.

The signing of a Taj hotel in Patna, Bihar, was announced by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL). In collaboration with Patliputra Palace Pvt. Ltd., this is a greenfield project.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, stated, “Patna offers substantial potential for celebrations, large conventions, and business travel, making it a key destination. Our commitment to the growth story of the region is demonstrated by the signing of this new Taj hotel, which enhances our footprint in Bihar. With this project, we are happy to deepen our collaboration with Patliputra Palace Pvt. Ltd.”

There are two speciality restaurants, a lobby lounge, a temperature-controlled pool, a fitness center, recreational facilities, a hairdresser and Taj’s famous J Wellness Circle spa inside the 500-key Taj Patna. Large conferences and social gatherings are made possible by the hotel’s banqueting facilities, which include a 16,000 square foot ballroom and other meeting rooms.

IHCL will now own seven hotels in Bihar, including four that are currently being developed.
