Grand Hyatt Gurgaon strengthens commercial team with two key appointments.

In a calculated move to bolster the hotel’s commercial and experiential leadership as it continues to improve its position within India’s luxury hospitality landscape, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon has announced the appointment of two senior hospitality leaders: Anu Bharara as Director of Sales and Isha Ahuja as Cluster Director of Celebrations. With these hires, Grand Hyatt Gurgaon strengthens its position as a top premium hospitality destination in the Delhi NCR area by concentrating more on destination led festivities, strategic alliances and steady business growth.
Isha Ahuja has more than 20 years of event related experience, including sales, weddings and big parties. As Cluster Director of Celebrations for Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar and Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa, she returns to the Hyatt family. Ahuja started her career at the Hyatt Regency Delhi and has since held senior leadership positions at prestigious luxury companies like The Lalit New Delhi and The Leela Palace Hotels & Resorts. She most recently worked at The Leela Palace Hotels & Resorts as Director of Sales Special Events & festivities, where she was instrumental in advancing destination wedding and pan India festivities. With 25 years of expertise in national sales strategy, key account management and strategic relationships, Anu Bharara has joined Grand Hyatt Gurgaon as Director of Sales. She comes to the hotel from Marriott International’s National Sales Office, where she most recently oversaw corporate sales for several brands as Account Director, National Sales India. Bharara has a solid expertise in luxury hospitality and premium brand development, and she has also held top leadership positions at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park.
