Adani Airports and Air India establish integrated online duty-free shopping.

An integrated online duty-free shopping platform has been introduced by Air India and Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), enabling foreign travellers to peruse, pre-order, and pay for duty-free goods before to departure.

The digital shopfront allows qualified travellers leaving from or arriving at specific Indian airports to shop online and pick up their packaged goods from designated duty-free counters at the airport. It is integrated into Air India’s website and mobile application.

Customers can combine eligible bank offers and seasonal privileges with the platform’s up to 25% discounts on conventional retail shelf prices. Cosmetics and fragrances, candies and confections, consumer gadgets, and beverages are all included in the online catalogue.

Additionally, the collaboration combines duty-free shopping with Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty program. For each ₹100 spent on qualified transactions via the platform, members will receive three Maharaja Points.

Passengers going to and from airports with participating duty-free operations in Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thiruvananthapuram can now use the service.

Customers on codeshare itineraries, such as those on Air India Express flights, are also eligible. In later stages, it is anticipated that the service would be extended to more domestic and international gateways.
