Air India Express starts daily direct Pune–Amritsar flights.
In an effort to improve internal connectivity and provide travellers with a convenient route between Maharashtra and Punjab, Air India Express has started daily direct flights between Pune and Amritsar.
The new service began on June 15 when the first flight took off from Pune. In addition to offering easy access to Amritsar’s well-known spiritual, cultural, and culinary attractions, the route is anticipated to assist tourists, pilgrims, students, and business travellers.
The daily flight leaves Pune at 1:20 and reaches Amritsar at 4:10. The return service departs Amritsar at 5:00 and arrives in Pune at 7:50 (local time).
Air India Express currently flies about 105 weekly flights from Pune to 12 locations, including Abu Dhabi, thanks to the advent of the new route. The airline offers 24 weekly flights from Amritsar to Delhi, Dubai, Pune, and Sharjah.
Via the airline’s website, mobile application, and other significant booking platforms, passengers can reserve flights, “Gourmair” hot meals, Xpress Ahead priority services, and other supplementary items.
The launch coincides with Air India Express’s recently launched “Xpress Wali Baat Hai” campaign, which showcases the airline’s growing network, onboard hospitality, cosy seats, and value-added travel services. The campaign stars actor Pankaj Tripathi.
