Over 850,000 people visited Lindt Home of Chocolate in 2025, with 60,000 coming from India.

With over 850,000 visits and more than 2,000 guided tours, the Lindt Home of Chocolate ended 2025 on a high note, its most prosperous year since launching. About 60,000 Indian tourists also visited the site, demonstrating its growing appeal to Indian tourists visiting Switzerland.

As a result of immersive exhibits, live demonstrations, and carefully selected tastings, the record-breaking year saw a notable influx of Swiss chocolate lovers, families, foreign visitors, and foodies. Visitors interacted with expert chocolatiers, learned about Switzerland’s renowned chocolate craftsmanship, and witnessed the entire cocoa journey from bean to bar.

With their richer storytelling and intimate insights, guided tours became a major highlight that improved tourist engagement and education. The record numbers show how popular experiential destinations that blend interactive storytelling, gastronomy, and culture are becoming around the world.

The factory, run by the Lindt Chocolate Competence Foundation, upholds Switzerland’s longstanding position as a major center for chocolate. The Foundation was founded in 2013 with the goal of supporting innovation, specialised training, and the development of young talent in the Swiss chocolate sector.

The Lindt Home of Chocolate intends to expand on this historic year by launching new immersive programs, workshops, and seasonal experiences, solidifying its standing as a top chocolate destination and educational resource.
