In Southampton, Cunard’s Queen Anne begins her world cruise.
Today, the Queen Anne set sail from Southampton to begin one of Cunard’s world cruises for 2026. The 2024 built ship will make 30 port calls throughout its 110-night voyage, which will include stops in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Canary Islands. Cunard claims that overnight stops in cities like Cape Town, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Los Angeles among the cruise’s high points. The trip also includes evening departures from other locations, such as Honolulu, Port Elizabeth, and Colombo. The cruise is scheduled to travel south for stops in Cape Verde and the Canary Islands after leaving Southampton. After that, the Queen Anne will travel to South Africa and Namibia before circumnavigating the Cape of Good Hope. The voyage continues with stops in Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean, such as Reunion, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The 3,000-person ship travels to Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines in addition to Australia. Before heading to the South Pacific Islands for visits in Vanuatu and Fiji, the ship will next make stops in Darwin, Airlie Beach, Brisbane, and Sydney. The Queen Anne will also visit Hawaii, California, and Guatemala before returning to Southampton. After passing through the Panama Canal, the ship travels to ports in Florida and the Caribbean before returning to the United Kingdom on April 30, 2026.
In addition to the Queen Anne, Cunard will be able to take a world trip on the Queen Mary 2 in the winter of 2025–2026. The 2004 built vessel, which is also departing Southampton today, has a 108 night itinerary that includes stops in North America, the Caribbean, the West Coast, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Australia, Southeast Asia, and other locations.
