DAVV Tourism alumni meet in Indore for I-CONNECT 2026.

I-CONNECT 2026 was organised by the alumni network of the MBA (Tourism) program at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore, and brought together about sixty working tourism experts at The Park, Indore.
“Celebrating Memories” was the topic. The program, “Building Tomorrow’s Tourism Network,” brought together alumni from various professional backgrounds and graduation years to reconnect, share industry ideas, and investigate business prospects.
About 300 professionals working in aviation, travel technology, DMCs, B2C travel agencies, tourism boards, hotels, and other travel and tourism-related fields make up the DAVV MBA (Tourism) alumni network.
Alumni networking, a keynote address, business talks, supplier presentations, and an open-house engagement were all included in the one-day program.
The founder of Rainbow Vacations, Swaytank Maheshwari, led a crucial session titled “What Will Make a Travel Professional Worth Paying For?” that examined the changing role and worth of travel professionals in an increasingly digital travel environment.
Aman Kaushik, the founder of Fulcrum Push, led another session titled “AI: The New Travel Architect,” which explored the effects of AI on the travel industry and its prospects.
GRN Connect and ASEGO provided support for the event, interacting with the alumni through special supplier sessions.
I-CONNECT was designed to go beyond a typical alumni gathering and grow into a long-term professional network for tourism professionals, promoting collaboration, mentoring, business connections, and information exchange.
Plans are in place to host the next I-CONNECT as a two-night, larger-format event with increased participation and a broader program in response to the response to the first edition.
An ongoing platform to link the DAVV tourism alumni group with the larger travel industry was launched with I-CONNECT 2026.
