Rajasthani real estate developers Manglam Group has announced the signing of a Sheraton Hotel contract with Marriott International in Jaipur. Across more than 3 lakh square feet on the Jaipur–Ajmer Highway, the project, which will have 220 keys, is being created with an expenditure of about INR 350 crore. It is a component of Manglam’s larger INR 1,000 crore hospitality investment strategy and is the group’s third partnership with Marriott International.
In front of David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Marriott International, and N. K. Gupta, Founder and Chairman of Manglam Group, Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group and CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts, and Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International, formally signed the agreement.
The hotel is situated in one of Jaipur’s fastest-growing corridors, the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway (NH-48), which links the city with important locations including Ajmer, Pushkar, and Kishangarh.
Sheraton is one of Marriott International’s brands that is especially well-known for uniting people via festivities, get-togethers, and shared experiences. The collaboration blends Manglam’s goal of developing destination-led hospitality experiences that highlight the finest aspects of Rajasthan with Sheraton’s experience in international hospitality.
The Sheraton Hotel is intended to be a luxury box hotel that blends first-rate lodging with modern hospitality experiences. The hotel will offer carefully chosen decor and guest experiences that capture the spirit of Rajasthan while upholding Sheraton’s internationally renowned hospitality standards, drawing inspiration from Jaipur’s rich cultural legacy, artistic customs, and lively character.
Amrita Gupta, director of Manglam Group and CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts stated, “Jaipur is no longer just a place the world visits. The globe is increasingly choosing it for its most significant events, such as business meetings and weddings. The Sheraton Hotel is at the center of Manglam’s goal, which has always been to provide hospitality that transports Rajasthan’s spirit to a worldwide audience. For generations, families in India have relied on Sheraton for their biggest festivities; bringing the brand to Ajmer Road is an opportunity to uphold that tradition in the center of the nation’s wedding hub. We want to accomplish much more with this hotel than just accommodate visitors. Our goal is to spread Jaipur’s warmth, crafts, and culture around the world and establish this city as a major destination for commerce, pleasure, and celebration.”
David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Marriott International stated, “My grandparents founded Marriott on the belief that taking care of associates leads to better guest experiences and ultimately long-term success. We have also discovered over time that solid alliances and common ideals are the foundation of significant development. We are happy to work with Manglam Group on the Sheraton Hotel and are excited to combine Manglam’s ambition for providing outstanding hospitality experiences in Rajasthan with Sheraton’s internationally known hospitality standards.”
Manglam is gradually establishing a hospitality presence throughout Jaipur’s major growth corridors with the Westin Jaipur on Delhi Road to the north, Fern by Marriott in Jagatpura next to the airport, and now the Sheraton on Ajmer Road to the west.
