Vienna House by Wyndham opens in Frankfurt.
Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South has opened in Frankfurt’s Sachsenhausen district, strengthening Vienna House by Wyndham’s presence in Germany and the wider DACH region.
Located on the south bank of the Main River, the hotel features 104 rooms, including suites and loft-style accommodation, with convenient access to Frankfurt’s financial centre, cultural attractions and international airport. Facilities include The Blasky restaurant, a rooftop bar with panoramic skyline views, seven meeting rooms, fitness and sauna facilities, a lobby mini market and parking for cars and bicycles.
Originally converted from an office building in 2019, the property has joined the Vienna House by Wyndham portfolio while retaining elements of its architectural history. Historic photographs, original plans and archival material are displayed throughout the hotel, alongside travel photography contributed by team members.
The hotel’s heritage is also reflected in its meeting spaces. The Alexander boardroom is named after architect, developer and former owner Alexander Tesler and features his original two-tonne marble conference table, which he brought from the Philippines to Germany.
The Blasky offers regional à la carte cuisine, a sharing concept and a daily breakfast buffet, while the rooftop restaurant and bar caters to hotel guests, local residents and visitors. Seven flexible meeting rooms can accommodate up to 200 guests, with the Palmengarten room offering plants, palm trees and terrace access.
New fitness and sauna facilities have been added, while a further redevelopment programme will transform around 700 sq m of unused space into expanded lobby and meeting areas. Plans also include improvements to the outdoor garden and 35 additional rooms by the end of 2027, increasing capacity to 139 rooms and suites.
The opening follows Vienna House by Wyndham’s international expansion into Vietnam, with further planned growth in India and Türkiye. Guests can also earn and redeem points through Wyndham Rewards at participating properties worldwide.
